Beer is great. Food good. If your timing is right the service is awesome. If you get there when the rush starts be prepared to wait. Most of the time it has been the kitchen causing the delay. The front staff works their a$$ off. The wait is easily managed with the delicious beer. Arrive by boat and enhance the experience.

I understand we're still in a pandemic and things have been changed according to law, in how restaurants now need to run. That's great that Mad Anthony's is able to do that in Angola. However, when you made a carry out order, pay for it, then head home to find out half of your order is made wrong; and make a polite complaint explaining the situation, one would think that they would fix the problem with humble customer service. Instead, I had Gabby, their bartender, answered and all she could say was "What do you expect me to do about it?" Highly unprofessional, will no longer be giving my business to them.

Yummy food and great beer and drink menu. Indoor and outdoor seating. Family friendly.

Food was good. Service was excellent. The beer is very good. I'm not a local doing this review so keep in mind I have been to hundreds of breweries. Golden Crown is a very unique beer that is tremendous if you like coffee. Good Karma is a west coast IPA that has no faults. Put this beer on tap in any of the great west coast breweries and it would be right at home. Hats off to the brewer.

We waited a very long time to order our drinks and food. Once we ordered it took over an hour for our food to be brought out. When we got our food it was burnt and when telling the manager and waiter, the manager walked away. I was disappointed having been told of how amazing this restaurant is.

Not the best, over dry meat and seemed like it was a old leftover batch. I was happy with my very simple side salad, lettuce & tomato. Kind of salad you get from a standard grocery store, nothing special about it. Appetizers seemed ok but nothing to write about either. I did enjoy the beer selection and atmosphere.

Great food great service. Brussel sprouts were a great appetizer.

Terrible service, RUDE bartender; and food took for ever to come out. Emphasis on the RUDE Bartender. If I could give this place a -10 I would. Will never be coming back to this establishment.

First time there. Atmosphere is nice and quiet. Food is really good. Will go again for sure.

Really cool place. Stopped in on my way to Indianapolis. I did a flight of 6 beers: 3 IPAs, a winter ale, a lager and a stout. All of them were good with my really enjoying the winter ale. I will have to stop in the Spring or Summer and enjoy the view of the lake.

They have great beer and food. Though in the summer especially you can have a long wait time for seating and food.

Great food, great staff, and overall great experience. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that it didn't feel as "home-y" like other Mad Anthony's. I'd for sure recommend that everyone in the area visit, I just missed the vibe I thought it might have which I feel in the others.

Best fish we have had the pleasure to try. Perfectly seasoned! Try the mango salsa and perfectly poured cocktails as well!

Had Mad Anthony's Mexican street tacos made up with grilled shrimp. Talk about Yum! Their home-brewed root beer complimented the meal nicely.

Food was great as were the spirits. Our waiter Zack was very prompt and never hesitated to ask if we needed anything.

Fish and chips were very crisp and tasty, with a decent tarter sauce. Service was very good. Fried pickles couple use a spiced up sauce.

Waited for almost an hour after we ordered for our food. When we asked to speak with manager, he said our order was the next one up and would give us 50 % off total bill. Food arrived burnt (the waffles) fish was cold and rubbery and bisque was inedible. (Some burnt end pieces, maybe) when we asked / stated that the food was not very good, to manager literally huffed and walked away without trying to remedy the situation.

Entry is weird. Building has seen better days and interior atmosphere is drab. Staff was great and attentive. Drink selection and quality was excellent. Food selection and quality was great. Burgers are very good, but came with just a small handful of fries...my wife's came with even less. May or may not return.

The Mad brews were fantastic. We enjoyed the flight and there wasn't a bad one in the bunch. If I could have afforded it I would have bought a growler of each. The menu was pretty amazing as well and I don't think anyone in my party ate anything bad. Will definitely come back here next time we're in town.

Good craft beers and the pork rinds are amazing.

We ordered 5 entrees, only 2 were complete. The Mediterranean pita lacked the stated sauces,cilantri, or humus. 2 others had no sauces either. The cheese curds are not Wisconsin type. The pork tenderloin was good!The dining choices are slim at the lake, so best to go there not so much takeout.

After waiting 45+ minutes for our food, 3 if the 5 meals were inedible when they were delivered. The brisket was a pile of burnt ends with only one slice that was edible. The waffle was burnt. And one order of the fish & chips was cold and gummy. I’m shocked the kitchen sent that food out. The managers was rude when we complained. His explanation was something went wrong, and then he simply walked away.

Great beer selection. The Thai chili wings were some of the best I've had. Jambalaya pasta was really spicy and generally ok but I'll probably order something different next time. Maybe just a double order of the wings.
